St Faith’s C.E. Primary School
We place a great deal of emphasis on our school Christian values of Courage, Trust, Love and Hope. These values underpin our teaching and learning and our behaviour expectations. An animal to represents each of our Values. Each of these animals can be found in our environmental area called Lockburn. We give examples of our understanding of each value through the teachings of Jesus and a Bible story.
We painted Faith our sheep with our school values and a depiction of each Bible story. Faith now stands proudly in our school entrance!
Lighting the Path…
Together: We Learn, We Share, We Pray, We Care with Courage, Trust, Love and Hope
Our School Prayer written together with the children of St Faith’s
Dear Lord
Please look after St Faith’s,
As we learn with courage,
Share with trust,
Pray with love and
Care with hope.
Help us to do our very best and
To think of those around us.
In Jesus’ name we pray
Amen
Christian Value: Courage
Being prepared to have a go, to do the very best you can and learn from mistakes
Christians believe God knows how difficult it is to persist when things get difficult and have faith that God will help them in the struggle.
Bible Story: David and Goliath
David saw Goliath walking up and down and shouting and he saw that no-one stood up to him. “How dare he challenge us!” said David to the men around him. “We have the living God on our side.” 1 Samuel 17
