School Organisation

There are 5 classes in the school which are named after trees in our school grounds


Oak Class – All of Year R and half of Year 1

Silver Birch Class – Half of Year 1 and all of Year 2


Willow Class – All of Year 3 and half of Year 4

Maple Class – Half of Year 4 and all of Year 5

Beech Class – All of Year 6


The children are taught in separate year groups for English and Maths in the mornings.

French and Science are taught to separate year groups in Key Stage 2


Times of Sessions:

Key Stage 1

Morning – 8.55am – 11.45 Afternoon – 1.00pm – 3.30pm

Key Stage 2

Morning – 8.55am – 12.00 Afternoon – 1.00pm – 3.30pm

The school office is normally manned between 8.00am and 4.00pm each day.

Characteristics of the school:

The school is a Voluntary Aided Church of England School. Both boys and girls are admitted.
The age range of pupils is 4 to 11.
