Celebration of results at St Faith’s!

We have recently received the analysis of our results for July 2014 from the Department of Education. We have also received a letter from Nick Gibb the Minister of State for School Reform which says ” I am writing to convey my warmest congratulations to you, your staff and your pupils for the very high standard of achievement in this year’s phonics check. To be in the top 5% of schools achieving the expected standard in the check, is a tremendous achievement and points to a high standard of phonics teaching in your school.”

The highlights of our school analysis of results are:

Key Stage 1: The school has produced results in reading, writing and maths which are a significant plus from those achieved nationally.

Summer born children have achieved equally well as or better than those born in Autumn and Spring.

Key Stage 2: The school has produced results in reading, spelling and grammar, writing and maths which are a significant plus from those achieved nationally both at level 4 and level 5 which is a remarkable achievement with 70% of our children achieving level 5 (above national expectations) in all subjects.

Children in all ability groups are making good progress.
